The Premier League has significantly outspent Europe's other big competitions in recent years, with many of the world's finest footballers heading to England in recent times.
Chelsea alone have spent around £1 billion over the past year since the arrival of owner Todd Boehly, but the Blues are not alone in splashing the cash. Every club has sought to strengthen and Nottingham Forest brought in a staggering 19 players after winning promotion to the top flight in 2022.
The latest edition of FourFourTwo looks at the biggest signing made by each club to have featured in the Premier League, ranking them from the worst to the best.
Several of the players on the list changed clubs in the summer and with January just around the corner, expect more transfer records to be obliterated soon.
